Neil was educated in Hitchin before taking his degree at Manchester University. He trained with Wagstaffs, at that time a firm with two offices and a number of partners, before qualifying and joining Ernst & Whinney, then one of the Top 8 firms of accountants, in Luton. Following a number of years of self-employment, Neil became a Partner in a firm based in Shefford before joining Bradshaw Johnson as Partner Designate and becoming a full Partner in 2006.
Neil has an extensive portfolio of clients, ranging from small self-employment clients to larger Limited Company clients. Neil acts for a large number of Charity clients, both independent examination and audit, as well as providing management reporting services to them.
Neil enjoys the challenge of helping new businesses and is keen to be involved to help ensure they get off to the best possible start, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
Neil has extensive knowledge of the main software packages used, including Sage, IRIS and QuickBooks. This ensures high efficiency when dealing with clients’ books and records.
Neil is a Trustee of a local charity as well as being, on a pro bono basis, the treasurer/reporting accountant for a number of other local charities and organisations.
